Senator Leila De Lima admitted on national TV her relationship with former driver and bodyguard saying it was the “frailties of a woman” that led to her involvement.
In a report by gmanetwork.com, she made a confession in an exclusive interview with Winnie Monsod’s Bawal ang Pasaway that she had a relationship with Dayan for a few years.
Ronnie Dayan has been identified by the witnesses of the Department of Justice during the House of Representative probe on the anomalies of the drug trade in the New Bilibid Prison.
De lima since then neither confirm or deny the relationship and rejected all allegations that Dayan was her bag man in the drug trade.
She admitted in the interview that she had helped Dayan financially but rejected the allegations that she had financed the construction of his house.
