In a report from Rappler, six people were dead in a road accident last night in Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City.
According to Cugman Police Station Chief Inspector Evan Vinas that the victims include three children and a father identified as Ronnie Abrio who drove his “motorela” along Cugman Bridge which bumped by a chicken-carrier truck driven by Freddie Talisayan.
Moreover, Vinas stated that the Talisyan was drunk and after the incident, he tried to escape and blast to another motorcycle driven by Vivienne Nacaya; a transgender woman who died on the spot.
The other casualty was identified as May Buñor, however, the police officers have not identified the 6 passengers of the “motorela” who were in serious condition.
Thus, Talisayan will be facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicides, multiple serious injuries, and multiple damages to property.
