22 Dec December 26 Declared As Special Non-Working Day
Mga higala! December 26, 2022, has been declared a Special Non-Working Day by President Bongbong Marcos!
According to Proclamation No. 115, this was decided because December 25, Christmas Day, which is a regular holiday, fell on a Sunday this year.
With this, the said proclamation aims to “give the people the full opportunity to celebrate the holiday with their families and loved ones”.
Moreover, “a longer weekend will encourage families to get together and strengthen their relationship towards a more productive environment, and will promote domestic tourism.”
