BEWARE OF FAKE NEWS mga higala!

December 26, 2018, was not declared by the government as a national or special holiday, contrary to various fake news reports spreading right now on the internet!

However, JANUARY 2, 2019, was recently declared as a holiday for government employees.

According to a report from ABS-CBN News, this false information was started with an article by the Philippine News website which claims that “Malacañang Palace” has proclaimed the said dates as special non-working holidays, following the approval of President Rodrigo Duterte.
