185 terrorist group members will be arrested by law-enforcement authorities through an order by Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana last Monday, June 5, for violating Article 134 of the Revised Penal Code.
In an article from CNN Philippines, the arrest order otherwise known as “Arrest Order No. 2” grants the “arrest, take into custody, and conduct/continue the investigation” of 185 individuals who are alleged “members/supporters/spies/couriers” of the Maute Group, Abu Sayyaf Group, Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters, and Maguid group.
On the other hand, the names of the terrorist group members were released by martial law spokesperson for Eastern Mindanao, Brig. Gen. Gilbert Gapay yesterday, June 8.
The individuals were accused of being perpetrators of kidnappings and violent attacks in Marawi City and other parts of Mindanao.
