DepEd To Postpone Face-To-Face Classses Until COVID-19 Vaccine Is Available

Mga higala! Education Secretary Leonor Briones has officially announced that the Department of Education (DepEd) will postpone and prohibit face-to-face classes until a vaccine against COVID-19 is made available in the Philippines!

“We will comply with the President’s directive to postpone face-to-face classes until a vaccine is available.”

DepEd is now preparing for the implementation of blended learning, which will utilize online platforms, printed or digital modules, radio stations, and television.

ICYDK, around 6.4 million students have already enrolled for SY 2020-2021 in public and private schools nationwide, according to their latest data.
