28 Apr DepEd Eyes To Start SY 2021-2022 On August 23

Mga higala! The Department of Education (DepEd) is now eyeing to start the School Year 2021-2022 of public elementary and high schools on August 23, 2021!
This was recently disclosed by DepEd Undersecretary for curriculum and instruction– Diosdado San Antonio, who said that even though there’s still no official order, this is the date that they approved (as of April 27).
ICYDK, the current school year is set to end on July 10 (which started on Oct. 5, 2020).
This schedule will then give students around 6 weeks of break time.
