16 Jul DepEd To Accept Late Enrollees In Public Schools Until September 2020

Mga higala! The Department of Education (DepEd) has announced that they will still be accepting late enrollees in all public schools in the Philippines until the last week of September!
According to Education Undersecretary Jesus Mateo, there’s no need to extend enrollment because our country’s basic education enrollment policy allows schools to accept late enrollees, as long as the student will be able to meet at least 80% of the prescribed school days.
ICYDK, classes are scheduled to start this coming August 24, 2020.
