23 Jul Kagay-anon Designer Mimi Pimentel Made The Barongs For President Duterte’s 4th SONA
Mga higala! Did you know? Mimi Pimentel, a talented and well-known designer from Cagayan de Oro City, made the Barong Tagalogs worn by President Duterte in his State of the Nation Address (SONA) yesterday, July 22, 2019.
She also designed the barong for Senator Bong Go.
The barongs were created with Jusi fabric since the president is uncomfortable with barongs made from Piña. Check out the photos posted by MJ Felipe below:
