01 Apr Despite Struggles, Balot Vendor’s Daughter Graduates From College

Mga higala! Jessa Felisilda Bacarrisas, a hardworking daughter of an equally hardworking and determined “balot vendor” has recently graduated from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP), here in Cagayan de Oro City.
Jessa successfully completed her course of Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Technology as part of Batch 2019.
She recently posted a graduation photo of herself, together with her amazing parents, with a moving caption describing how her family went through a hard life, surviving with a “1 meal per day” struggle, tuition problems, and a lot of other challenges along the way.
