20 Apr DILG Orders Brgy. Captains To Publish Masterlist Of Cash Aid Beneficiaries
Mga higala! The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has ordered barangay captains to publicize the names of their community’s cash aid beneficiaries under the Social Amelioration Program (SAP)!
According to a report from Inquirer, DILG Secretary Eduardo Año said that the list of target beneficiaries should be disclosed in order to promote “honesty, transparency, and orderly management” of the financial subsidy from the DSWD.
Año also added that this list should be clearly posted on the barangay hall, city or municipal hall, social center, gymnasium, auditorium, transport terminal, public market, health station, hospital, and other similar public spaces.
