13 Aug DOH Sets SRP Of Face Shields To P26-P50
Mga higala! The Department of Health (DOH) has issued a memo– Dept. Memorandum No. 2020-0345, setting the suggested retail price (SRP) of non-medical grade FACE SHIELDS to only around P26.00 to P50.00!
However, a 10% allowable variation to the said SRP may be added to account for the distribution costs for Visayas and Mindanao areas.
This is part of the “Updated SRPs For Emergency Essential Medicines and Medical Devices Due to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19 Health Event”.
As most of us know, the demand for face shields has surged due to the upcoming implementation of its mandatory use on public transportation.
Because of this, some suppliers and sellers have taken advantage of the situation and are selling face shields for P80 to P100 each.
