27 Jan DOJ Orders NBI To Investigate Phishing Scams Targeting Teachers
Mga higala! Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Menardo Guevarra has ordered the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to conduct an investigation regarding phishing schemes that are targeting teachers!
According to DOJ’s Department Order No. 012, the NBI, through OIC Eric Distor, has been directed and granted authority to conduct the said investigation (and case build-up) regarding the alleged schemes, which are victimizing teachers who have accounts with the Land Bank of the Philippines!
ICYDK, the Teachers’ Dignity Coalition has recently disclosed that they’ve received reports that there are teachers who have lost money from their Land Bank accounts after transferring or sending money via online banking.
