22 Jan DOTr To Continue Pilot Run Of Motorcycle Taxis in PH: 3,000 Riders Allowed For Cagayan de Oro

Mga higala! The Department of Transportation (DOTr), together with Angkas, Move It, and JoyRide, has now agreed to continue the pilot run of motorcycle taxis in the Philippines!
This was confirmed after a closed-door meeting between the technical working group (TWG) of DOTr and the said companies, which was presided by the House of Representatives.
A total of 15,000 drivers each will now be allotted for motorcycle taxi companies in Metro Manila, while 3,000 drivers each will be allowed in Cebu and Cagayan de Oro City.
