Mga higala! The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office X is now preparing to provide assistance for families affected by the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in Cagayan de Oro City!
According to their recent post, Regional Director Mari-Flor Dollaga has already met with Mayor Oscar Moreno and discussed the distribution of family food packs and the possible provision of food and non-food items.
DSWD also said that the city government has submitted the list of families for relief assistance and that they are now conducting family data profiling to determine if the affected families are qualified to receive further aid from the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS).
“AICS provides medical, educational, burial, transportation, food, and non-food assistance in the form of outright cash to support the recovery of individuals and families suffering from an unexpected life event or crisis such as illness or death of a family member, natural and human-induced emergencies, and other critical incidents.”
