Quim’s Cafe and Bakeshop, a cake cafe in Tomas Morato, will send out P5 million worth of cake samples!
This cake giveaway by Quim’s Cafe’s pastry chef Jake Labang is an act of honor to his post on November last year, where he posted that if Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte will win the presidential race, he will send out P5 million worth of cake samples for free!
Jack Labang, has bashed Duterte after the Davao City Mayor chooses to run for President when he told the people repeatedly that we would not. Duterte’s decision to run for the presidency that time has been propelled by Senate tribunal decision favoring Senator Grace Poe’s presidential bid.
Mathematically, Duterte’s votes can’t be surpassed by the trailing Mar Roxas who have already conceded a few days ago. Thus, Duterte’s victory is apparent.
In response to this, Quim’s Cafe and Bakeshop posted that they will be true to their promise after all.
“To celebrate a clean and free elections and in honor of our new leaders, we stay true to our promise of sampling 5 million worth of cakes to in scheduled batches. You have to like our FB page and reserve a slot by sending us your name, age, address and contact number at quimscake@yahoo.com.”
The bakeshop also hoped that Duterte will be true to his promise in eradicating criminality within 3-6 months.
