04 May Duterte Remains at the Top! – April 26-29 Survey Results
On Tuesday, May 3, the ABS-CBN released poll results on their official website conducted by Pulse Asia from April 26 – 29.
That is after the Pangasinan debates and during the bank controversy involving Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.
Despite the controversy, Duterte remains the top choice among the 4,000 survey respondents. He is favored by 33% of the respondents. The survey has a +/- 1.5% margin of error.
Next to Duterte in the survey results is LP’s Manuel Roxas II with 22%. With a percent lesser, standing at 21%, Grace Poe ranks third, while Binay is at 17%. Santiago remains at the tail of the race with only 2%.
For the Vice-Presidential race, Leni Robredo leads the pack with 30%, Bong-Bong Marcos is a close second with 28%.
Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero is at 18% placing third while Duterte’s tandem Senator Alan Peter Cayetano only got 15%.
Senator Gregorio Honasan II and Trillanes are at the bottom with 3% and 2% respectively.
