24 Sep President Duterte Makes A Surprise Visit To Wounded Soldiers In Cagayan de Oro

Mga higala! President Rodrigo Duterte made a surprise visit for the wounded soldiers at the Fourth Infantry Division (4ID) of Camp Evangelista, Cagayan de Oro City, last Saturday, September 22. And, unlike his usual visits, no media were invited during this time.

In a report by Sunstar CDO, First Lieutenant Tere Ingente, 4ID spokesperson, disclosed that President Duterte arrived at about 11:46 p.m. on September 21 and left at 12:20 a.m. of September 22.

The 14 wounded soldiers were then awarded with the Order of Lapu-Lapu Award and the Wounded Personnel Medal. They also received cash assistance, cell phones, watch, and gun certificates, according to Special Assistant to the President “Bong” Go.
