Summer is HERE!. And some of us are now getting excited to go to the beach and wear our sexy swimsuits. But still, there are some of us who are afraid to show off their belly fat, yes, we go swimming and sometimes wear rash guards (I could relate to that). We always envy those girls who we know that eat a lot but still has a flat stomach (yes, they do exist). But worry no more! Here’s a simple yet fat-burning workout you can do at home in just 10 minutes!
Flutter Kicks
This exercise will contract the abs to stabilize the hips and is working the abdominal muscles particularly the lower abs. Execute it properly by keeping your back on the ground to fully contract the stomach.
Rotation Reach Crunch
This type of crunch does not only work for the abdomen but also for the obliques as it involves shoulder rotation.
Pilates Side Hip Raise
This exercise is best to achieve smaller waist as it intensely targets your transverse abdominals. This also targets on the obliques and outside thigh.
Russian Twist
This exercise does not only engage the abdomen but also the obliques as you have to twist your upper body part. You could also lift your feet up to add more challenge in doing this exercise.
Toe Touch Crunch
Another type of crunch that could work out your upper and lower abs. You just have to raise and extend your legs then try reaching them, this would contract your abs.
Pilates Leg Pulls (facing down)
This exercise is best for burning calories and toning up as you will this in your glutes, abdominals, lower back, hamstrings, deltoids, pecs, and quadriceps.
Pilates Leg Pulls (facing upward)
Lower back, glutes, and hamstrings will benefit this exercise. It would also help you strengthen your core.
Pilates toe Taps
Toe taps is a simple move and is a gentle abdominal muscle warm up. It very effective in toning your abdomen and the front thighs. Take turns in tapping your left and right foot on the floor while keeping your low back makes the constant tension in the abs.
Knee Tuck Crunches
This exercise targets the entire abdominal region that includes the upper, lower and oblique parts of your core simultaneously. This would give you a powerful abdominal burn that raises the heart rate.
