“For the first quarter this year (2018), 25 percent of the products to be displayed, promoted and sold would be organic and 75 percent inorganic. During the second quarter, it would be 50 percent organic and 50 percent inorganic. In the third quarter, would be 75 percent organic and in the fourth quarter, will be 100 percent organic.” The governor also added that the Provincial Government will also assist in the transportation of products from farms to the Capitol grounds.
Emano also added further that he will invite the Cagayan de Oro Hotel and Restaurant Association (COHARA), the Department of Tourism and various hotels and restaurants looking for organic products to patronize the farmer’s market.
