31 Jul The Empire Music Lounge – A Hot New Night Spot for Party-goers is Now Open in CDO

This will really be great news for night owls, weekend party-goers, band music lovers, or just for those looking for some fun, music, and drinks to unwind after a week of stressful work. Another milestone in Cagayan de Oro’s nightlife has been added with the opening of the lively Empire Music Lounge at the Lifestyle District along Corrales Avenue Extension.

Its opening was marked with a VIP pre-opening gala that featured live bands and, of course, plenty of beer and other liquor, that was offered free only for those invited. The featured bands were Herbal Remedies and Upstart. This pre-opening gala is actually on a “per invite” and RSVP basis because they needed to count heads as to how many were actually going. It was called the “Privilege Party” as a sort of sneak peak as to what Empire Music Lounge is all about.

Herbal Remedies generally belted out reggae and soft rock covers and originals while Upstart was more into pop and soft rock.

Before the opening, the No Age Bracket band was already belting out songs to engage customers to come to Empire after the Privilege Party and for the opening of Brewsky and Fry.

Also opening that night was Brewsky and Fry Gourmet Munchies on the ground floor of the Empire Music Lounge. Brewsky is somewhat technically part of Microphone Hero but also serves the food inside Empire.

Customers can also order dine-in at the Brewsky space or take-out and bring it to other tables nearby or anywhere else. Brewsky serves delicious steaks and ribs as well as other short orders.

In continuation of its opening day, on July 30, 2015, they will be featuring Aliya Parks starting at 9:00 p.m. The following table rates consist of:
- Tables for 4 available at P1,500.
- VIP 1 Table for 8 available at P3,500.
- VIP 2 Table for 8 available at P3,000.
- VIP 3 Table for 10 available at P4,000.

All rates are consumable. There is actually a free admission but for standing room only, and you have to purchase drinks while inside. The live band, JenSpeak, will also be performing that night.
