With the tagline, “E-Safety Mo, E-Secure Mo, E-Diskarte Mo”, the Department of Energy (DOE) in collaboration with the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) and the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) launched the “E-Power Mo!” Energy Consumers and Stakeholders Conference held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City today, July 12.

In a live video posted on Presidential Communications (Government of the Philippines) Facebook Page,  the aim of the conference is to give relevant information on the changes of the advancement in the energy sector, proper energy utilization, and energy resiliency.

President Rodrigo Duterte’s “energy roadmap and policies” was also presented in the conference. The roadmap is devised for the empowerment of the Filipino consumers to “ develop and utilize the energy resources” and to “…undertake safety and saving measures through energy efficiency, secure the delivery of quality, reliable and affordable energy services, and empower consumers through a wide range of options in utilizing conventional, renewable and alternative energy sources.”
