20 Jul Erika Raagas and Her First Win with Corpus Christi Team

Erika Raagas, a transfer of St. Mary’s School played in the high school girls’ championship of the PVF Region 10 Grassroots Developmental Inter-School V-League 2016 with the Corpus Christi team against her former school’s SMS Fiat held last Sunday, July 17, 2016.
“We lost a key player this semester kay ni-transfer naman si Joy (Lugatiman) sa MUST. And we didn’t expect Erika’s coming to our fold. For us, welcome kaayo ang pagsulod ni Erika sa among team,” said Alex Adeva, Corpus Christi coach.
With the Corpus Christi team reigned as the champion, SMS Fiat was awarded the first runner-up followed by the team from Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School.
Meanwhile, in the secondary boys division, Pilgrim Christian College ruled, followed by the team from Merry Child School and MOGCHS. In elementary girls division, Bulua Central School won against Angelicum Learning Centre in the finals while the SMS placed third.
The event is a developmental league backed by the Philippines Volleyball Federation.
