26 Feb 17 Former Combatants of NPA Complete Technical-Vocational Course in Bukidnon
Last Sunday, February 23, 2020, 17 ex-NPA combatants finished the Primerong Kurso sa Pagbag-ong Kinabuhi Level 3 (PKPK-3) Class 1-2020, which was held at Camp Osito Bahian in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
The said technical-vocational course is part of the government’s process for re-integrating the former NPA combatants into non-combative life. They will then be enrolled in halfway houses managed by local governments.
According to the PKPK-3 director, Capt. Ryan Layug, the graduates will participate in capacity-building activities so that they can have access to aid packages and incentives under the government’s Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (ECLIP).
Among the 17 graduates, 11 are from Bukidnon and the remaining 6 are from Misamis Oriental.
