Face Mask & Social Distancing Violators To Face P2,000-Fine & More Starting October 5

Mga higala! Starting this October 5, 2020, individuals who will be caught violating the mandatory face mask and social distancing measures of Cagayan de Oro City will be facing an administrative fine of P2,000 and/or other penalties!

This is in accordance with the City Ordinance No. 13946-2020 of the City Council.

However, in case a violator cannot pay the said fine, he/she can choose to render community service at a rate of 8 hours per P500.

If a violator fails to pay the administrative fine or render community service within 72 hours from the time of apprehension, he/she will face an official complaint and can be penalized with another fine of P2,000 or imprisonment of not less than 15 days.
