30 Sep Reminder: Face Mask & Social Distancing Violators To Receive A Fine Of P2,000 Starting Oct. 5
Mga higala! The City Government of Cagayan de Oro is now reminding the public about the P2,000-fine against those who will violate the city’s mandatory wearing of FACE MASKS and the observance of SOCIAL DISTANCING, starting October 5, 2020!
This is in accordance with the City Ordinance No. 13946-2020 of the City Council.
However, in case a violator cannot pay the said fine, he/she can choose to render community service at a rate of 8 hours per P500. Failure to comply with either of these can result in additional fines and even jail time.
