08 Jun Fashion Designer From Cagayan de Oro Now Making PPEs For COVID-19 Frontliners
Mga higala! Odelon Simpao, a fashion designer and fitness coach from Cagayan de Oro City, is now making personal protective equipment (PPE) like isolation gowns and hazmat suits!
According to Lifestyle.Inq, he is currently based in Manila and has been wanting to help out front-liners and his sewers since the start of the lockdown last March.
Since his first Facebook post about the said PPEs, a lot of people have been ordering Simpao’s high-quality protective suits so that they can donate to hospitals. He’s now even considering going full-time, to meet the need.
Because of this, he has provided work for his sewers and other workers amid the pandemic and has helped in his own way in the fight against COVID-19.
