17 Mar Fire hits building at Brgy. Iponan, CDO

In a report from ABS-CBN, a building at Zone 5, Camansi, Barangay Iponan, Cagayan de Oro City was hit by a fire that engulfed the second floor.
According to the report, Michael Ejera, the owner of the building said the main power breaker was caught on fire after a power outage. The cost of damage was estimated at 150,000 and police are still investigating the cause.
Police said that every building should be checked by a certified electrician to avoid these kinds of incident. Citizen should also turned off their breaker immediately when experiencing power outage.
