In an article posted by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, authorities restricted the use of drones in taking footages, in any event, being celebrated in the Higalaay Festival next week up until the last of the annual festival.
This is to prevent those who want to breach the security of the city while major events are being held during the city fiesta of CdeO.
The Chairman of the Police, Fire and Public Safety Committees, City Councilor Romeo Calizo is particularly concerned with the Higalaay Parade where bulks of people are expected to gather in different public areas in the city.
On the other hand, police officers appealed to the public to show their support and heed to the strict security implementation for the upcoming remaining events in the fiesta.
The military and police have been prohibited from using drones are to avoid attracting the attention of the terrorists.
