3 Young Footballers from Cagayan de Oro Doing Well in UFL Tournament

Jethro Borlongan, Carlo Dorin and Greg Naquines, three footballers from Cagayan de Oro City are leading Global FC in the ongoing United Football League (UFL) Summer Youth football tournament being held in Manila. They opened the said summer league with a 4-0 win against Bacolod City’s Ceres FC.

The three of them are former members of the different national youth teams who are now training with Global.

From Abbas Orchard Montessori School are Borlongan and Naquines who both delivered the winning goals. While 8th grade student Dorin come from Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School (MOGCHS).

Three years ago, Naquines was part of the u-11 Little Azkals team where in Loughborough University, they trained for almost a month. And just last year, both Borlongan and Dorin played for the Philippine u14 team in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Football Festival in Brunei.
