In an article from Bombo Radyo Philippines, a former member of the notorious “hired killers” Batang Mindanao-29 was arrested in a drug bust operation at Zone 4, Barangay Bugo in Cagayan de Oro City.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-10) identified the suspect as Walter Rosero who resides around the area.
PDEA Agent Ben Calibre said that Rosero was freed from a frustrated murder case before but is now into the illegal drug trade.
Furthermore, a big sachet of suspected shabu and a caliber .45 loaded ammunition were confiscated from the suspect.
The suspect is now facing criminal charges for violating the Republic Act no. 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
As of this writing, Rosero’s notebook which contains the list of the names of his buyers will also be investigated.
