08 Sep Former Police Officer Nabbed in an Anti-Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Cagayan de Oro
A former police officer was nabbed in Barangay Gusa, Cagayan de Oro in an anti-drug buy-bust operation.
Detective Management Desk (DMD) deputy commander Insp Jason Sto. Domingo identified the drug suspect as former SPO1 Romeo Nonan Deleonio from Provincial Mobile Group-Bukidnon.
Seized from Deleonio were 3 sizable sachets of shabu valued at P250,000, buy-bust money worth P2,000 and an old Mercedez Benz Muzzo allegedly used by Delenio for illegal transactions.
Earlier, Domingo disclosed that Deleonio is included in the watchlist in Malaybalay City being the number one target of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-10.
Meanwhile, Cagayan de Oro City Police Office spokesperson C/Insp Allan Curato assured that Deleonio won’t be able to evade arrest contrary to his past cases thrown out by the court in Bukidnon.
