09 Nov Indigent, Hearing Impaired Patients Given Free Digital Hearing Aids By CDO Group

Free digital hearing aids were given to 120 indigent and hearing impaired patients last November 8, 2016 in Cagayan de Oro.
One of the hearing impaired patients was Estrella Vega, 76, a resident of Jasaan, Misamis Oriental, who was very thankful for the early Christmas gift which was given through the Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro East Urban.
This was the second year that the Rotary had provided free hearing aids to the indigents and hearing impaired patients.
According to Jocelyn Umaran, a resident audiometrician, early detection of the condition is important in addressing it. Through the use of the hearing aids, the patients’ confidence will get a boost and improve their social activities.
