29 May GAMA Foods Corp Donates COVID-19 Testing Machine To NMMC
Mga higala! GAMA FOODS CORPORATION, a poultry manufacturing company here in Cagayan de Oro City, has donated a Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) machine to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), which will be used for COVID-19 testing!
The said donation was turned over during yesterday’s (May 28) press briefing at Mayor Oscar Moreno’s conference room.
Mayor Moreno expressed his gratitude to GAMA Foods Corp. and said that this donation will augment NMMC’s testing capacity along with the additional RT-PCR machines acquired by the City Hall.
According to a post byStephen Capillas, the GAMA’s chief operations officer– Mark Chang, said that their company started and grew in Cagayan de Oro and it is their pleasure to be of service to the city.
“I hope that in this COVID-19 crisis, we in the private sector and the government can help each other in beating COVID-19. I hope this donation will boost our fighting chance. We should also not be complacent and follow the government guidelines for community quarantine,” Chang said.
