29 Mar Garbage Collection Finally Resumes In CDO
Mga higala! The garbage collection problem of Cagayan de Oro City will finally be addressed as the local government has awarded the contract to a new garbage hauler.
According to the City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (Clenro), the said collector, Jomara Konstruct Corp, officially started its operations last Friday, March 24, 2023.
BTW, the garbage collection contract amount is P219 million per year, said Clenro’s Engr. Armin Cuenca.
Around 50 garbage trucks are now operating, temporarily following the old schedule, higala!
