25 May Gilas Pilipinas cadet team Defeats Singapore – Kagay-anon Jiovani Jalalon is the Top Scorer of the game!
Kagay-anon Jiovani Jalalon leads the Gilas Pilipinas cadet team in dumping team Singapore to secure a 81-59 win! This is their second win in the 2016 SEABA Stankovic Cup for Men held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Jalalon scored 17 points in the game to go with 4 rebounds. He had it made in an efficient process by sinking 8 out of 12 field goals. Almond Vosotros tallied 14 points, while Mike Tolomia showed his versatility by contributing 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists for the team.
Known for his speed and pinpoint passing ability, a scoring burst is an added asset in Jalalon’s young Basketball career.
Jalalon graduated from Sacred Heart of Jesus Montessori School before he has gone into Luzon to properly position his career in Basketball playing for the Arellano University Chiefs.
The cadets’ next game will be against Indonesia today, May 25.
