Globe Contributes P1.4M for Reforestation in Mindanao

A prominent telecommunication firm, Globe Telecom will be donating P1.4 million to Hineleban Foundation for reforestation.

According to a report from Sun.Star, this project is part of Globe’s five-year reforestation program. Hineleban, together with Globe’s MyLifestyle iPhone 7 clients, Globe signed a memorandum of agreement for cooperation in reforestation on ruined forests in Mindanao on December 6, Tuesday.

Hineleban Foundation, Inc. is composed of a group of advocates who are dedicated and passionate in the restoration of the environment and sustainable livelihood for the Lumads and the Bangsamoro through Transformational Business Partnerships across Mindanao.

Globe users can also contribute in the reforestation in the area of Mindanao especially in Bukidnon and Lanao del Sur provinces by availing the Globe’s MyLifestyle Plan which starts at P2,599.

Clients who avail the new iPhone 7 under the Globe MyLifestyle plan can take part in several cause-oriented projects covering environment protection and conservation, by the Globe of Good bundle which permits the company to give a donation on their support.

Globe Telecom’s collaboration with Hineleban involves in its Climate Action Program advocates the conservation of natural resources.
