02 Sep LOOK: Good Samaritans Give Help To Widowed & Childless Lola @ Brgy. Balubal
Mga higala! Good Samaritans in Cagayan de Oro City recently gave additional help to Nanay Mercedes Borres, the senior citizen living alone in Brgy. Balubal who shed tears of joy after receiving her ECQ Special Ayuda!
In case you missed our previous post, ayuda distribution personnel were touched by Nanay Mercede’s gratitude upon getting her cash aid and found out that she did not have any children and has been all alone ever since her husband died.
Her story then reached some kind-hearted individuals who initiated a donation drive.
According to a post by Samantha Fajra Latour, a lot of people sent donations to them and they were also assisted by the local Public Employment Service Office (PESO), the Brgy. Balubal staff, and more.
They were also provided with a vehicle by the Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team in order to help deliver the aid for Nanay Mercedes.
