Mga higala! Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is now informing the public that the load limit of Cagayan de Oro’s Gov. Ysalina Bridge (in Brgy. Carmen) has now been reduced:

FROM: 7 tons or 14,000 pounds

TO: 4 tons or 8,000 pounds

This means that people are now prohibited from staying on Gov. Ysalina Bridge and only lightweight vehicles are allowed to pass.

ICYDK, this new limit was decided after a recent inspection revealed its necessity for public safety.
