10 May Government Employees To Receive Mid-Year Bonus Starting Next Week

GOOD NEWS mga higala! Over 1.5 million government employees will receive their deserved mid-year bonus starting next week, Tuesday, May 15. This was announced by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) yesterday.
According to a report by ABS-CBN News, Budget Secretary Benjamin Diokno stated that the said bonus is equivalent to an employees one-month salary.
To qualify, government workers should have served for at least 4 months, starting from July 1, 2017, to May 15, 2018, and have obtained a satisfactory performance rating in the applicable performance appraisal period.
Furthermore, Diokno also added that the government allotted P36.2 million for this mid-year bonus.
