28 Dec 4 Wounded in a Grenade Explosion in Brgy Lumbia
Last December 27, 2016, a local store owned by a resident of Sitio Kabula in Barangay Lumbia here in Cagayan de Oro was bombed with a grenade thrown by unknown suspects who boarded a motorcycle.
Police authorities are looking at the possibility that business competition was behind the bombing which injured 4 individuals. The victims were identified as Julius Javier, 31, a company of the owner of the store named Zaide Villarin, a 14-year old boy Ronald Alunan who just happened to buy something at the store, and 2 other minors.
Currently, the victims were admitted at J.R. Borja Memorial City Hospital.
