18 Mar Groundbreaking Of 1st Planetarium In Mindanao Conducted @ El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental
Mga higala! The groundbreaking of the 1st PLANETARIUM in Mindanao, located at Molugan, El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental, was finally held last Friday, March 15.
The planetarium will be worth P35 million, which is less than the initial budget of P50 million and is going to feature a state-of-the-art full dome projector that will show a 3D view of stars, planets, and other celestial objects.
The groundbreaking ceremony was led by Science and Technology Undersecretary Renato Solidum Jr. and Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano, together with PAG-ASA’s Vicente Malano and DOST-10 director Alfonso Alamban. The event was attended by government officials, employees, and members of the media.
