30 Apr “Hero Cop” Killed By Drunk Suspect With A Gun @ Bukidnon

Mga higala! Police Staff Sergeant Rio Tibang, a hero cop who bravely responded to a distress call in P-6 Upper Rancho, Banganhan, Pangantucan, Bukidnon, was killed by a drunk suspect with a gun last Sunday, April 28.
The suspect was identified as Joseph Maulas y Sotomil a.k.a. Tata Maulas from Kalilangan, and is now wanted by the Pangantucan PNP.
According to a report from Sunstar CDO, when PSSg Rio Tibang arrived at the scene, the suspect reportedly opened fire, hitting the victim’s head, chest, neck, and stomach.
Tibang then died on the spot, while the suspect immediately fled.
