03 Aug 95% Of Higalaay Festival 2020 Activities To Be Held Online
Mga higala! Due to the current pandemic, 95% of the activities for the HIGALAAY FESTIVAL celebration this 2020 will be virtually held online, via Facebook live and other platforms!
According to the tourism office of Cagayan de Oro City, these activities include the following:
• Miss Cagayan de Oro 2020 Virtual Pageant
Introduction of Candidates (TBA)
Announcement of Winners (August 27)
• Mindanao Fashion Summit
Virtual Fashion Show (August 1-31)
Centrio Mall
• Kumbira- Culinary Show
(to be held for 3 days)
• Kahimunan Trade Fair by DTI
(3-day event by the end of August)
• Online Photo Contest & Exhibit
Limketkai Center
Oro Photographic Society
• Novena for St. Augustine
(to be held via Facebook live)
• CDO 101 Higala’s Art
Banda de Oro (TBA)
However, one of the activities that will be held physically is the grand Fluvial Parade along the Cagayan de Oro River on August 28.
Don’t worry! Proper health safety protocols against COVID-19 will be observed.
