27 Feb HMD Global Relaunches Nokia 3310 with Web Browsing Feature
The iconic Nokia 3310, which was formerly launched way back in 2000 and got discontinued in 2005, was reborn with a revamped version featuring a web browsing capability.
It was at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain when HMD Global launched its 3 new Android smartphones, Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6, and the new version of 3310 last February 26, 2017, Sunday.
According to Arto Nummela, head of HMD Global, bringing back with it are the popular “Snake” game and distinctive ringtones. The new 3310 will also let users talk for 22 hours which is ten times more than the original with twice the standby time up to 1 month.
