25 Aug House Committee Approves Bill Aiming To Create USTP Campus @ Brgy. Lumbia
Mga higala! The House Committee on Higher Education has approved House Bill No. 9653, a bill authored by Cong. Klarex Uy aiming to establish an extension campus of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) in Brgy. Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City!
When passed into law, this campus will help cater to students from remote barangays and will provide short-term technical/vocational education and undergraduate/graduate courses within USTP’s competence and areas of specialization.
The campus will then be known as the USTP-Lumbia Campus.
