01 Oct HRM Student Committed Suicide in Bugo Due to Difficulties in College Subjects
Junnel Salon, a 2nd-year student of Tagoloan Community College was found dead in Barangay Bugo. The 18-year old student committed suicide using a dog chain, tied it around his neck and hanged himself which caused his death.
According to Bugo Barangay Captain Jesus Morial, Salon committed suicide due to alleged difficulties in his subjects in the said college in the municipality of Tagoloan.
Yielded from the victim was a suicide note which reads about Salon asking for forgiveness to his family for what he did.
Leon Salon, the father of the victim, was first shocked in the incident. Leon said that he didn’t fail to always ask his son regarding his problem in attending the course Hotel and Restaurant Management, however, he hasn’t heard anything from him.
