IATF Approves Limited Face-To-Face Classes For All Degrees In Alert Level 2 Areas

Mga higala! The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) has approved limited face-to-face classes (50% capacity) in all degree programs in areas under Alert Level 2!

This was announced today, November 5, 2021, by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

However, to conduct face-to-face classes, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Colleges and universities that want to have limited face-to-face classes must have a high vaccination rate among students and faculty.
  2. They must have full approval from the local government unit (LGU).
  3. They must retrofit or modernize their classrooms and facilities (in line with pandemic requirements).
