Mga higala! Here are the quarantine guidelines for the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in Cagayan de Oro City (as implemented by the IATF)!

Minimum Health Standards

• Wearing of face masks and shields
• Frequent sanitation and handwashing
• Social distancing
• Work from home as a default (onsite as exception)

Population

• 100% required to stay at home (except for obtaining essential goods and services, essential work, etc.)

Exercise

• No contact sports. Limited outdoor exercises are allowed– like outdoor walking, jogging, biking, etc. (with safety protocols).

Gatherings

• Highly restricted (only a maximum of 5 persons are allowed except for those that are essential for the provision of health services, gov’t services, or humanitarian activities).
• Religious gatherings: 10% of the venue capacity
• Gatherings for wakes, burials, etc: immediate family only.)

Travel

• No public transportation
• Flights: no domestic with limited international flights
• Biking and non-motorized transport encouraged
• No inter-island travel

Government

• Skeletal onsite, others should work from home
