10 Jan IFI Bishop Also Against The New Casino @ Opol, Misamis Oriental
Mga higala! In an interview posted by Rappler, Bishop Felixberto Calang of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (IFI) expressed that they are also against the opening of the new casino in Opol, Misamis Oriental!
The Bishop even said that aside from the fact that they are opposed to gambling establishments like this casino, they were also not consulted before its construction and no local government official or representative from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and Grand Imperial approached them about this or even conducted a public hearing or consultation.
